Project Manager - Production Process Improvement

Client Description:
Our client is a Global 500 food company, seeking a high caliber professional for the position of Project Manager to join their company.

Responsibilities:

  • Report to Factory Manager, To manage and lead quality improvement programs to ensure a “Zero Waste” mentality
  • Conduct feasibility studies in order to provide suggestions or solutions for appropriate stakeholders.
  • Review and revisit the exiting materials costing periodically to drive cost improvement
  • Develop and retain staff technical skills in order to meet operation needs / business growth

Requirements:

  • Degree or above in Engineering, Production, Manufacturing or related disciplines 
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant working experience preferably from manufacturing industry
  • With Problem solving or TPM experience
  • Proven experience of using business improvement tools (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
  • Excellence communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English & Chinese

Senior Plant Manager / Senior Production Manager - Food

Client Description:

Our client is a giant catering group, to cope with their fast expansion, they are urgently seeking a Senior Plant Manager / Senior Product Manager.

Job responsibilities:

  • Oversee total factory including manufacturing operation, supply chain, warehouse and engineering departments; deliver high quality products in most cost effective manner
  • Plan and implement improved workflow, efficiency, capacity of the production processes and monitor food cost to meet the needs of the expanding business;
  • Implement Food Safety Management system (i.e. HACCP, GMP, ISO) so as to keep high food quality standards at all times;
  • Develop an effective stock control system for inventory management and resources planning;
  • Ensure preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize production interruptions;
  • Keep pace with the food manufacturing technology trends in the market and provide constructive insights to the management;
  • Partner with HR to optimize manpower utilization and implement successionplanning and training to sustain talent; and
  • Keep abreast of local legislation changes and identify any potential threats in the operation to implement relevant counteract / preventative strategies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma holder or above in relevant disciplines;
  • 8 years managerial experience in food production industry;
  • Sound knowledge in HACCP / GMP / ISO and other Food Safety Management System;
  • Proven track records in driving improvement and leading a sizeable manufacturing team;
  • Passionate and commit to high quality of food production;
  • Strong leadership skill with analytical mind in problem solving;
  • Good knowledge of the related laws, regulations and local government policies
  • Proficient in either Mandarin or Cantonese, knowledge of English would be an advantage;
  • Candidate with more experience maybe considered as senior position
