General Manager, Factory Operations - Garment (Vietnam)

Client Description:

Our client is a Hong Kong listed company with strong partnership with some Global well-known global apparel brands. In order to cope with the business needs, they are now looking for a factory management professional to join their company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a number of factories in Vietnam in order to ensure production is productivity, product quality, on-time delivery and cost efficient met with company's targets
  • Initiate different kinds of projects to further enhance the productivity and quality assurance
  • Implement lean management workflow, and continuously enhance teamwork and skills of all employees.
  • Work closely with internal counterparts located in other countries and external counterparts from clients’ side
  • Understand any potential risks which might be happened in the factories and keep management updated about any situations

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in any disciplines
  • A minimum of 15 years working experience in garment manufacturing environment, in which over 5 years in sizable factory management
  • Experience in setting up new factory is definitely an advantage
  • Strong background of Industrial Engineering is preferable
  • Strong data analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to make production and logistics planning and ensure their prompt execution
  • Excellent people management, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English, ideally Vietnamese and Chinese
  • Station in Vietnam is required

Business Director - Garment Manufacturer

Client Description:

Our client is a Hong Kong listed company with strong partnership with some Global well-known global apparel brands. In order to cope with the business needs, they are now looking for a Business Director to oversee their operation in Guangzhou province.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate shall be responsible for managing an overseeing the non-factory operations of the assigned KEY brands of the company including Merchandising, Product Development, Material Planning, Production Planning and Control, Costing, etc. with around 300 Headcounts in the GZ branch office
  • Act as one of the key persons to deal with and work closely with the teams of the brands on business strategy, objectives & targets, product development, production and so on
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers on issues related to production, quality, schedules, etc.
  • Work and communicate closely with company’s factories in South East Asia to ensure production capacity, quality and schedules can be aligned with brands’ requirements
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by senior management

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in any disciplines
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in garment manufacturing environment, with solid experience in merchandising
  • Experience in driving process improvement projects 
  • Experience working in brands’ sourcing is a plus but not a must
  • Able to understand situation down to details, identify and solve problems quickly
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in spoken English and Mandarin is needed
  • Good command of written Chinese and English
  • Station in Guangdong Province in weekdays
  • Travelling to SEA is required

Brand Manager - Sports brands

Client Description:

Our client is a one of the leading fashion retailers in Hong Kong.  They are looking for a high-calibre brand management and product management professional to join their company.  

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the BU head, the successful candidate shall be responsible for overall brand management and product management with P&L accountability of the assigned brands
  • Supervise and lead a team of product management team in product development, pricing and inventory control 
  • Setup yearly goal and objectives for retail business on both quantitative and qualitative perspectives 
  • Analyze competitive activities and market trend for product development and business development planning to achieve company's objectives and KPIs
  • Work closely with Marketing, Retail Operation and Sales teams on formulating and executing plan, programs and sales initiatives to strengthen brand awareness, drive sales, profitability and so on

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Marketing or other related discipline
  • A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in fashion industry
  • Experience from diversified background like buying, retail operation, business development would be an highly appreciated
  • Strong analytical skill to interpret complex product information
  • Presentable, organized with strong multi-tasking and people management skills
  • Strong business acumen to handle complex business models
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English

General Manager - Business Development (F&B)

Client Description:

Our client is a leading F&B group.  Owing to their business expansion, they are looking for a General Manager to lead their new brand development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Being one of the senior management members, the successful candidate shall be responsible leading the team to develop and manage the new brands under the group with full P&L accountability of the business unit
  • Keep good understanding on the market trends to identify good business opportunities so as to prepare proposal of potential brands to management
  • Formulate the new brand’s business plan in terms of products, pricing, trends, brand positioning, segmentation, mode of services, etc. so as to maximize the value for money and business objectives
  • Lead and manage the team to implement the business plan from concept idea to real market launch
  • Utilize different business and financial models/analysis to conduct simulation and keep monitoring of the business performance after launch
  • On-going review of existing policies, guidelines and procedures to fine-tune the operational and management efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in business or other related discipline
