Senior Financial Analyst

Client Description:

Our client is a well-known international accessories brand, to cope with company needs, they are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team,

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Regional Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible for providing analysis on profitability of existing business and new opportunities to management of Greater China region
  • Assist in planning process and to provide in-depth analysis regarding opportunities for growth and cost containment
  • Prepare financial and management reports and analysis on monthly, quarterly and annual basis and perform variance analysis and feasibility study
  • Coordinate and assist in the regional profit plan, capital plan and forecasting process
  • Consolidate and gather profit planning financial data from functional team in regional office
  • Perform other ad hoc project as requested by management

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting or Finance discipline, qualified accountant is preferred
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in financial analysis/management accounting, ideally from retail or FMCG industry
  • Exposure to Greater China region is a plus
  • Proficient in using Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good business acumen
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English

Group Finance Manager - FMCG

Client Description:

Our client is a Global FMCG company, to cope with the company need, they are currently seeking a seasonable and experienced Group Finance Manager to join their company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate shall be responsible for annual budget, monthly/ quarterly forecasting and financial reporting of the assigned BU
  • Enhance competitive edge over competitors and identify areas which could be streamlined to increase efficiency
  • Responsible for manging Net Operating Capital and EBIT by implementing business strategies and policies
  • Being a business partner and provide suggestions to senior management
  • Prepare various kinds of management reports and analysis, identify areas of improvement, provide options and implement best solutions

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting with at least 8 years accounting experience including FP&A 
  • Able to work under pressure  with tight schedule
  • Familiar with SAP and/or Hyperion is preferred
  • Strong project management, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Good command of spoken & written English and Chinese

(Senior) Finance Manager - Trading

Our client is a well-established company marketing raw materials to construction and manufacturing industries. They are now looking for a high caliber Finance professional to join their company.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate shall be the key person responsible for managing all the finance matters of the company
  • Liaise with banks on the operation of trade finance and bank facility etc. and to develop and maintain strong relationship with banks
  • Prepare profitability reports and analysis to understand business performance and provide recommendations to management on the variances and KPI
  • Perform cash flow management, forecast and budgeting
  • Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast
  • Monitor all kinds of statutory audits, tax related matter and ensure compliance with the regulations
  • Liaise with auditors and external professionals in relation to finance matters
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • Possession of professional qualifications in HKICPA/ ACCA/ CFA or other relevant qualifications
  • A minimum of 12 years’ financial management experience with solid working experience in trading companies
  • PRC exposure is definitely a plus
  • Solid knowledge and hands on experience in trade finance, bank facilities, shipping, taxation and related regulatory frameworks
  • Able to demonstrate effective relationship & management skills with internal and external counterparts
  • Independent, proactive, meticulous and able to work independently and efficiently

  • Make, check and reconcile the MYOB accounting entries
  • Collect vendor invoices, record and arrange payments for signing
  • Assist supervisor for month-end, year-end closing and all related accounting workloads
  • Handle filing and mailing documents
  • Provide prompt response and assistance to colleagues; going to bank for money deposit
  • Arrange the vendor contracts renewal and record the meeting agenda
  • Responsible for the month-end and year-end stocktake and fixed assets count

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for formulating, managing and executing the annual internal audit plan and risk assessment of the company
  • Design and carry out various financial and operational audits to ensure compliance with corporate policies, standards and procedures, and requirements from the Audit Committee of the Group  
  • Prepare Internal Audit reports, identify control weaknesses and inefficiencies, substantiate findings and provide value-added and feasible recommendations to Management
