Senior Accountant - Manufacturing/ Trading

Client Description:

Our client is a well-established company marketing raw materials to construction and manufacturing industries. They are now looking for a high caliber Finance professional to join their company.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate shall be the key person to handle the operations of trade finance and bank facilities such as preparation of LC, credit note, etc. 
  • Work closely with banks and to develop and maintain strong relationship with banks
  • Prepare profitability reports and analysis to understand business performance and provide recommendations to management on the variances and KPI
  • Perform cash flow management, forecast and budgeting
  • Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast
  • Liaise with auditors and external professionals in relation to finance matters
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 6 years in finance/ accounting capacity  
  • Solid experience in full-set accounting is essential for management accounting duties
  • Possession of CPA is preferred but not a must
  • Exposure to manufacturing/ trading industry and PRC market is a plus
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Occasional travelling maybe required
  • Candidates with more experience maybe considered as Assistant Finance Manager

Accounts Clerk - AR + AP, 18-day AL

Client Description:

Our client is a developing company focusing on providing technology solutions to corporate clients. They are now looking for an independent accounting professional to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the successful candidate shall be mainly responsible for handling all the accounts receivable matters including preparing and issuing invoices to clients, following up clients regarding overdue payments, depositing cheque payments and issuing receipt upon receipt of payment as well as partial accounts payable duties 
  • Monitor account receivables aging and provide clients with invoice reminders and warning letters to overdue accounts
  • Issue credit hold notifications
  • Update sub-ledger and maintain accurate records for clients payment status
  • Weekly report outstanding status to direct report
  • Assist in bank reconciliation and month-end closing schedules

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Finance or Accounting
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in AR
  • Self-initiative with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to communicate with clients about invoice/ overdue issues
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese

Regional Financial Controller/ Senior Regional Finance Manager - Manufacturing

Our client is a Hong Kong listed company with over market cap of over HKD1Billion and strong partnership with some well-known global apparel brands.  They are an integrated companies with manufacturing, retail and distribution businesses.  With the rapid expansion in the manufacturing operations in SEA, they are looking for an independent Finance professional to join their company.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the successful candidate shall be responsible for leading a team to deliver all-rounded Finance and Accounting services in factories across the SEA region
  • Monitor the month-end accounts closing and consolidation, and perform financial and management reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, etc.
  • Prepare operational and financial analysis to corporate and senior management
  • Ensure proper controls and compliance at statutory and corporate levels
  • Monitor and manage tax efficiency across the region
  • Liaise with auditors and external professionals in relation to finance matters

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines with possession of HKICPA, ACCA, CFA or other relevant qualifications

(Senior) Accountant

Our client is a well-established technology service provider with around 100 headcounts in Hong Kong Office. They are now looking for a dynamics and independent Accounting professional to join their company.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible for handling full set of accounts and month-end closing 
  • Issue AR inovices and follow up collection and overdue AR outstanding balance
  • Handle account payable and arrange payments 
  • Prepare cash-flow planning, month-end closing, schedules, reports and consolidation
  • Prepare monthly/weekly reports to management 
  • Assist in statutory audit and tax-filing
  • Assist the Manager in other ad-hoc projects/duties as assigned such as system upgrade

Requirements:

  • Teritary educated in Accounting or related discipline
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience, ideally experience in trading/ retail/ consumer products/ project based industry with inventory concept
  • Solid experience in handling month-end closing 
  • Proficient with MS Excel

Chief Financial Officer/ Finance Director - Manufacturing & Trading

Responsibilities:

  • Directly reporting to Managing Director, the successful candidate shall be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial and accounting operations
  • Monitor the month-end accounts closing and consolidation, and perform financial and management reporting, budgeting, treasury and financial analysis
  • Study the feasibility of IPO and be the key project owner to kick off and manage the whole IPO project
  • Work closely with the Finance team in PRC for the IPO issue
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with banks and ensure smooth operations of trade finance and banking facilities
  • Liaise with auditors and external professionals in relation to finance matters
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Reporting to Financial Controller, the successful candidate shall work closely with Accounting team and manage daily accounting matters and lead month-end/ year-end closing to ensure compliance with local accounting standards and Group policies
  • Perform analytical review and lead regular management reports to meet tight reporting timelines
  • Manage balance sheet and perform regular reviews
  • Manage forecast and budget exercises
  • Supervise buying income booking function   
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors

Finance Manager (FP&A) - Retail/ FMCG

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Director of Finance, the successful candidate shall be responsible for providing sound financial advice and added value analysis to operating departments
  • Prepare accurate and timely management reports, forecast and budget, etc.
  • Identify and analyze financial status by comparing actual results with plans, budgets and forecast so as to make suitable recommendations to management
  • Review contracts / agreements, business case, tender and make recommendations for investment decision in compliance with business units' objectives, particularly for Capex investment.

Requirements:

  • Diploma graduate or above with LCCI I or higher
  • A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
  • Detail minded, initiative, responsible and well-organised
  • Strong at Microsoft Excel and with SAP Business One experience is definitely an advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English 

(Senior) Financial Analyst - Retail/FMCG

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible for conducting financial analysis and preparing management reports on regular basis
  • Prepare annual and quarterly budget and forecast 
  • Provide analysis on profitability of existing stores to support renewal decision and perform feasbility study on potential stores
  • Monitor and review expenses of stores and ensure appropriate control being in place
  • Support business cases, projects and cost-benefits analysis 
  • Perform other ad hoc project as requested by management

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting or Finance discipline, qualified accountant is preferred
  • Professional of HKICPA or equivalent

  • Proficient in using Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good business acumen
