Senior Finance Manager

Client Description:

Our client is a well-established listed company in HK. In order to cope with the company need, they are now looking for a passionate and responsible professional to join their Finance department. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Reporting to Financial Controller, the successful candidate shall be supervising and leading a team to perform inventory, payment and purchase functions and month-end closing
  • Prepare timely management reporting to business units
  • Conduct and review analysis and presentation for senior management’s review
  • Prepare budget and forecast, and monitor budget control 
  • Provide business partnering advices with 
  • Handle treasury-related matters
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as assigned by senior management

Requirements: 

  • Degree holder in Accounting or Finance related discipline
  • Accounting qualification (i.e. HKICPA, CPAA, etc.) 
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting & finance
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly in MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Oracle accounting system is preferred 
  • Independent, detailed oriented, strong analytical and communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Candidates with less experience maybe considered as Manager

 

Financial Accountant - Retail

Client Description:

Our client is a multi-national Retail company. They are looking for a Finance and Accounting Professional to join their Finance and Accounting team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible for the accounts operations, financial reporting and internal control of the business unit
  • In charge of the month-end closing process to ensure a timely and accurate report to management and HQ
  • Prepare monthly P&L reports by channel
  • Review the balance sheet reconciliation after month-end and investigate the reasons if any discrepancies
  • Prepare periodical internal control reports to HQ and Regional Office
  • Monitor and control the budget and costs of the departments
  • Review workflow and process for continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Finance/ Accounting or related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, preferably from FMCG / Retail industry
  • Solid experience in month-end closing is essential
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, dynamics and able to meet deadlines
  • Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Accounting Executive - Global FMCG

Client Description:

Our client is a multi-national FMCG company. They are looking for a Finance and Accounting Professional to join their Finance and Control team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible for ensuring the Accounts Receivable and Payable operations is properly handled by shared service centre
  • Oversee daily AP process from Invoice input to payment
  • Monitor the AR progress, and go through the debtor review with FM and Sales team
  • Act as the key contact point for all AP and AR related issues
  • Take care of all fixed assets related process in including FA registration/ disposal/ depreciation
  • Prepare weekly sales report and monthly turnover reports for company’s retail shop
  • Monitor and control the bad debts within budget

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Report to FC and Top Management, the successful candidate shall be responsible for reviewing audited accounts, management accounts, ledgers and vouchers
  • Handle full set of accounts and consolidation of the Group’s companies
  • Assist in preparing Annual and Interim reports
  • Handle documents to comply with statutory requirements in different Authorities
  • Perform cash flow management, forecast and budgeting
  • Liaise with auditors and external professionals in relation to finance matters
  • Monitor general administrative functions in HK office

Requirements:

Senior Accountant/ Assistant Finance Manager - Manufacturing/ Trading

Client Description:

Our client is a well-established company marketing raw materials to construction and manufacturing industries. They are now looking for a high caliber Finance professional to join their company.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate shall be the key person to handle the operations of trade finance and bank facilities such as preparation of LC, credit note, etc. 
  • Work closely with banks and to develop and maintain strong relationship with banks
  • Prepare profitability reports and analysis to understand business performance and provide recommendations to management on the variances and KPI
  • Perform cash flow management, forecast and budgeting
  • Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast
  • Liaise with auditors and external professionals in relation to finance matters
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 6 years in finance/ accounting capacity  
  • Solid experience in full-set accounting is essential for management accounting duties
  • Possession of CPA is preferred but not a must
  • Exposure to manufacturing/ trading industry and PRC market is a plus

Our client is a developing company focusing on providing technology solutions to corporate clients. They are now looking for an independent accounting professional to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the successful candidate shall be mainly responsible for handling all the accounts receivable matters including preparing and issuing invoices to clients, following up clients regarding overdue payments, depositing cheque payments and issuing receipt upon receipt of payment as well as partial accounts payable duties 
  • Monitor account receivables aging and provide clients with invoice reminders and warning letters to overdue accounts
  • Issue credit hold notifications
  • Update sub-ledger and maintain accurate records for clients payment status
  • Weekly report outstanding status to direct report
  • Assist in bank reconciliation and month-end closing schedules

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Finance or Accounting
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in AR
  • Self-initiative with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to communicate with clients about invoice/ overdue issues
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese

Regional Financial Controller/ Senior Regional Finance Manager - Manufacturing

Our client is a Hong Kong listed company with over market cap of over HKD1Billion and strong partnership with some well-known global apparel brands.  They are an integrated companies with manufacturing, retail and distribution businesses.  With the rapid expansion in the manufacturing operations in SEA, they are looking for an independent Finance professional to join their company.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the successful candidate shall be responsible for leading a team to deliver all-rounded Finance and Accounting services in factories across the SEA region
  • Monitor the month-end accounts closing and consolidation, and perform financial and management reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, etc.
  • Prepare operational and financial analysis to corporate and senior management
  • Ensure proper controls and compliance at statutory and corporate levels
  • Monitor and manage tax efficiency across the region
  • Liaise with auditors and external professionals in relation to finance matters

Requirements:

Senior Accountant

Client Description:

Our client is a well-established technology service provider in HK. They are now looking for a dynamics and independent Accounting professional to join their company.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful incumbent shall be responsible for handling full set of accounts and month-end closing 
  • Supervise and lead a small team to perform the AP and AR operations including issuing AR invoices and following up collection and overdue AR outstanding balance, and handling account payable and arranging payments 
  • Prepare cash-flow planning, month-end closing, schedules, reports and consolidation
  • Compile monthly/weekly reports and other management reports to Senior Management for review and decision making 
  • Assist in statutory audit and tax-filing
  • Assist the superior in other ad-hoc projects/duties as assigned 

Requirements:

  • Tertiary educated in Accounting or related discipline
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience, ideally experience in trading/ retail/ consumer products/ project based industry with inventory concept
  • Solid experience in handling month-end closing 
  • Proficient with MS Excel 
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, dynamics and able to meet deadlines
  • Good team player with strong communication skill

Chief Financial Officer/ Finance Director - Manufacturing & Trading

Responsibilities:

  • Directly reporting to Managing Director, the successful candidate shall be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial and accounting operations
  • Monitor the month-end accounts closing and consolidation, and perform financial and management reporting, budgeting, treasury and financial analysis
  • Study the feasibility of IPO and be the key project owner to kick off and manage the whole IPO project
  • Work closely with the Finance team in PRC for the IPO issue
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with banks and ensure smooth operations of trade finance and banking facilities
  • Liaise with auditors and external professionals in relation to finance matters
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines with possession of HKICPA, ACCA, CFA or other relevant qualifications
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in finance capacity with at least 10 years in managerial level with solid experience in HK listed companies
  • Exposure to manufacturing and/or trading industry is a must
  • Regional exposure to China market is a must
  • Solid experience in leading the IPO project is definitely a plus
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Occasional travelling to China is required
